Amblyopia or Lazy Eye

In this condition, one eye has not developed totally its normal vision acuity.

The causes are strabismus and suppression of vision in one eye. Strabismus can cause amblyopia and vice-versa, and it can be permanent or temporary.

It's common in children, and can be related to emotional conditions.

People with amblyopia have two dimensional vision - they only use one eye and lose their binocular vision.
